The employer is a family-owned business founded in the 1990s, specializing in custom color solutions. Based in Wisconsin, with a facility in North Carolina, they focus on flexibility, responsiveness, and high-quality products. Committed to sustainability, they aim to minimize ecological impact while delivering innovative color concentrates and liquid solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure and weigh color formula materials to meet customer specifications.

  • Mix batches in jars on shakers and produce color chips using injection molding machines for sample submission.

  • Match customer color submissions accurately using lab equipment and guidance from experienced technicians.

  • Clean work area as needed and follow all safety rules and regulations.

  • Fill supply cabinets with fresh supplies.

  • File folders, chips, and paperwork.

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate proficiency in English (4.5 - 5.0 IELTS level)

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • 1-2 years prior experience in a lab environment preferred.

  • Plastics industry experience highly desirable.

  • Ability to see color accurately (Munsell test given during the interview).

  • Strong number perception, basic math, and measurement skills.
