Our partner is a team of over 19,000 (FTE) with business units in: Agriculture, Construction & Equipment, Consumer Products, Hydro Energy, Food, Forestry & Forestry Products, Retail & Distribution, Shipbuilding & Industrial Fabrication, Transportation & Logistics.
Responsibilities
Troubleshooting equipment and perform equipment repairs
Ordering of appropriate parts
Working with supervisors, customers, and fellow mechanics on various tasks
Providing support for onsite safety requirements
Safe operation and upkeep of company mobile service unit
Various other garage-related activities
Qualifications
Upper Intermediate communication skills in English, both written and oral
3-5 years of progressive experience as Heavy Duty Mechanic with proven mobile field work
International Driver’s License
Understands computer software in the machines (listed above)
Familiarity with mechanical reliability principles and programs
Problem solvers and able to work overtime as required
Quick learner and ability to meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of safety compliance programs & best practices
