This position is a permanent full-time role responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting, and repairing equipment while adhering to safety rules and regulations. You will need to maintain all equipment according to the required standards and respond to production needs and equipment failures.
Responsibilities:
Promote and ensure workplace safety, seek improvements, and support the health and safety program.
Work as a team to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment.
Participate in the improvement of existing equipment and the implementation of new equipment.
Provide support to production teams.
Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
Repair or replace defective machine parts.
Perform routine maintenance work on machines.
Install new machines and equipment.
Ensure that safety devices function correctly following repairs, modifications, and installations.
Participate in the preventive maintenance program for all equipment to achieve continuous improvement of all machines.
Keep accurate and detailed maintenance records/reports and documentation.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a minimum of CLB/NCLC 5 in French and CLB 5 in English.
Experience: 5 years in an industrial environment
Education: Two-year college diploma (preferred)
