Position Description

The Mental Health Nurse will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs of care for a defined caseload; and maintaining associated records.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health care, nursing, psychology, psychiatry, or related field.

• 1 - 5 years of experience in mental health support.

• Upper-intermediate English proficiency skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with several groups including patients, carers, and other staff members.

• Ensure that services are delivered timely and that standards are upheld adequately.

• Plan, develop, and execute approaches that promote health and well-being and prevent adverse effects on patients, carers, and other community members.

• Allocate and supervise the work of a team.
