This opportunity involves using manual lathes and manual Milling machines to fabricate a variety of hydraulic components, such as threaded rods, cylinder tubes, pistons, and glands.

Responsibilities

    • Daily operation and maintenance of the various manual machines. Including lathes, milling machines (horizontal and vertical)

    • Making drawings based on sample components

    • Documenting your work and each component

    • Working with Co-workers to complete tasks on time and ensure quality standards are met

    • Keeping your work area safe and clean

Qualifications

  • Upper-intermediate communication skills in English, both written and oral

  • Minimum of a High School diploma or GED

  • Basic understanding of hydraulics or controls

  • Ability to work with basic hand and power tools

  • Ability to perform basic mathematic calculations including addition, subtraction, fractions, measurement, and percentages and converting between metric and standard measurements.

  • Ability to use and read micrometers and calipers.
