Position Description
As a Performance Test Engineer, you will implement solutions to our partner’s client base, refining all areas of the testing lifecycle from inception through to delivery across their Automation, Performance & Security domains. You’ll get to leverage your experience within software delivery methodologies and test processes to improve engineering practices delivering value and elevating your standing as a true partner for clients.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute risk-based performance test strategies at project and organisational level in collaboration with key stakeholders, managing delivery expectations.
Implement application and system monitoring to identify performance bottlenecks while embedding performance best practices into the SDLC.
Partner with stakeholders to document and report on risks, ROI and defects, suggesting strategies to alleviate risk where practical.
Contribute to our ways of working to ensure appropriate tools are utilised in the execution of performance test initiatives with an emphasis on quality.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
performance testing experience across multiple platform architectures and technologies
Exposure to one of Microfocus LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, Tricentis NeoLoad or another similar tool
Experience with different automation tools and CRM platforms
