Celebrating Displaced Talent Mobility: An inspiring evening in London

Fragomen and Talent Beyond Boundaries hosted the inaugural Displaced Talent Mobility Awards Ceremony to celebrate and recognise the people and organizations behind the groundbreaking work being done to advance displaced talent mobility in the UK. To celebrate the remarkable commitment of those who support our work, a total of nine awards were presented to outstanding partners, employers and TBB alumni.

The reception was attended by a number of representatives from partner organizations, employers, alumni and community members who got a chance to hear speeches from David Crawford, Managing Director from Fragomen Canada, John Cameron, TBB Co-Founder and CTO, Marina Brizar, TBB Director for the UK and Europe, and the moving speeches from TBB alumni whose lives have been positively impacted by our programs, among others. In between award presentations, the guests enjoyed a musical performance as well as networking sessions to continue solidifying our sector and finding further avenues of collaboration.

The judging panel had the difficult job of choosing the winner of each category as we have the privilege to work with such outstanding people and organizations. We hope to continue recognising all those who are steadfastly making labour mobility pathways a reality in the UK and Europe.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has been a part of this journey and look forward to expanding our areas of collaboration into the future. We also want to thank everyone who joined the celebration and we welcome future organizations to join the cause for a safer future for displaced people everywhere.
