Position Description
Our partner is looking for a passionate and dynamic Security Solution Architect for their Vancouver branch who will deliver consultative services directly to your clients and build relationships with their stakeholders and project teams.
Responsibilities
Work with customers and internal stakeholders, define customer solutions, and deliver engagements that are innovative
Continuously improve team processes to ensure information is of the highest quality
Ensure technology designs and implementations solve clients’ requirements and challenges
Design, architect and implement standard or custom technical solutions
Develop complete customer-focused technology solutions for current and new service offerings, considering all aspects of architecture including business and technical requirements, sizing, infrastructure, data protection, security and recovery items
Create relevant documentation as required including conceptual design, logical and physical designs, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations information
Stay abreast of architectural and industry changes, especially in the areas of Cloud
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
Post-Secondary Education or Solution Architect Certifications are optional but preferred
5+ years of industry experience working as a subject-matter expert in at least 2 technology areas (Microsoft, data center, cloud, storage, virtualization, server, networking, etc.), one of which must be Security
Experience architecting Microsoft technologies including Azure, Skype for Business, and Office 365
Experience with architecting and securing AWS
