Position Description

As an Occupational Therapist in the Pediatrics practice, you will work with a specialist, multidisciplinary team of medical professionals to ensure the delivery of nuclear medicine services. You will be the link between patients and the hospital and will undertake all Nuclear Medicine, SPECT/CT and PET/CT scanning procedures within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of specialists to facilitate the operational flow of patient studies from initial receipt of request to final dispatch of patient report and films

  • Communicate between the patients and the department

  • Perform intravenous injections of radiopharmaceuticals

  • Perform in-vitro counting and radio-pharmacy procedures according to local protocols

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral

  • Nuclear Medicine degree or other relevant Science degree

  • Experience in Clinical Nuclear Medicine Imaging

  • Experience in nuclear medicine data processing

  • Clinical Experience in the use of Hybrid SPECT/CT gamma cameras and PET/CT systems
