Position Description

As an Occupational Therapist in the Pediatrics practice, you will provide assessment and interventions to your caseload of children with highly complex needs, including both inpatients and outpatients. You will also work with specialists across various disciplines within the extended team to provide patients with holistic care.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services to the children and their families

  • Work autonomously as a practitioner to assess, set goals, provide treatment, and report progress to all patients, including patients with complex and specialist needs

  • Undertake ongoing CPD and audit, contribute to development of specialist services and relevant policies to monitor and improve the standards of clinical practice

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral

  • A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)

  • Experience in Pediatrics and/or working with children

  • Knowledge and application of pediatric OT assessment and intervention tools
